The COSA Cancer Pharmacists Group (CPG) will host its major educational event, the 2025 COSA CPG Clinical Practice Course for Cancer Pharmacists on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne.

This two-day intensive course is targeted at pharmacists at all levels. The weekend will run two simultaneous streams: a Foundation Stream designed to assist pharmacists who have a basic knowledge of cancer, and an Advanced Stream, an interactive, expert-led forum for pharmacists working at an advanced clinical level, who have a good understanding of oncology and/or haematology pharmacy practice.
This new format for the Clinical Practice Course for Cancer Pharmacists proved successful in 2024 enhancing the interactive and informative educational opportunities available to attendees and allowing delegates at all experience levels to network with other pharmacists from around the country.

In the 2025 Foundation Stream participants will work interactively to gain knowledge in the more common cancer types as well as develop understanding and skills in the safe and accurate review of anticancer therapy orders.

The 2025 Advanced Stream is an interactive, expert-led forum for pharmacists working at an advanced level, who have a good understanding of oncology and/or haematology pharmacy practice.
The 2025 program is shaping up to offer a variety of topical areas and expertise, including:
- Breast cancer update
- Individualised and precision oncology
- Somatic and germ-line mutations and therapy
