- GROUP Survivorship
- PROJECT SPAN 2024
- DATE 23/07/2024
Background
The COSA Survivorship Group convened a national Think Tank in August 2018, focusing on patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in cancer survivorship care and follow-up. The PRO Working Group was established in 2019 in response to the Think Tank recommendations to provide national leadership to determine a coordinated approach to PRO monitoring in cancer care, recognising PROs as essential measures of patient well-being and treatment efficacy. The PRO Working Group, led by Professor Bogda Koczwara, comprises multidisciplinary experts from oncology, survivorship, health services research and patient advocacy with interest and expertise in PROs in cancer.
